If you want those crusty edges on your cheese sticks – use a metal pan and push the cheese all the way to the edges. I used a round cake pan but you can use a square pan or even a cast iron skillet.

First – spray it really well! If you have parchment paper – cut out a sheet the shape of your pan and place it in the bottom of the pan. When the bread is done, run a thin knife around the edges of the pan to loose the crispy edges. Then grab a thin spatula and pull the sides in and get underneath the bread. Run the spatula around the whole pan to loosen it – and then you’ll be able to slide the whole cheesy bread out in one piece!

Air Fryer Garlic Cheese Bread

There is something about freshly baked bread, breadsticks or rolls that is so magical. Soup and warm breadsticks are my favorite fall meal. Homemade Little Caesars crazy bread is worth any time that it takes to make. I told Greg, “I can’t stop eating these!!” I ate about 4 right in a row.

The cool thing about this recipe is that you plop the risen dough onto the baking sheet and you use the palms of your hand to press it out into a rectangle. No need for a rolling pin. You don’t have to roll the dough into breadsticks…just use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into 1 inch wide breadsticks. The bread cooks and comes out like pull-apart breadsticks.

I started my crazy bread and then while it was proofing I started making stuffed pepper soup (recipe coming soon). It was perfect because the bread and the soup finished at the exact same time!

Mind Blowing Little Caesars Crazy Bread

The sauce tastes just like Little Caesars sauce. It is super easy to whip up and fun to dip your breadsticks in. Of course the sauce is completely optional.

Everyone always asks me what type of mixer I have. It’s an old Bosch mixer that is probably 25-30 years old! It still works great and I use it all the time for cookies and breads.

Little Caesars Italian Cheese Bread

On any given Friday night of my childhood, my dad would bring home pizza from Little Caesars. I was always way more excited about the Crazy Bread that came along with it, than the pizza. (Or pizza pizza.)

After testing several batches of dough, to make sure I got it just right, I happened to bite into a buttered breadstick before I rolled it in parmesan cheese.

The only difference is that Crazy Bread is coated in parmesan cheese and served with marinara for dipping, while Olive Garden Breadsticks are served with just garlic butter on top.

Yes, you can use vegan butter in place of traditional butter. Earth Balance is a good option. For crazy bread, you will need to make vegan parmesan cheese using 3 parts crushed cashews to 1 part nutritional yeast.

Yes, but… You can use a 1-to-1 gluten-free baking mix in this recipe, instead of traditional all-purpose wheat flour. They actually taste really good! However, the texture of the breadsticks is not quite the same. It’s more crumbly and not quite as flexible.
